Important information
🚫 NUTS BAN: It is not permitted to bring, eat or serve nuts, almonds, peanuts and sesame seeds in any of the schools in Gothenburg. The ban applies to all school premises, 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
🚫 PROHIBITION AGAINST PETS: In addition to allergenic foods, pets are also not allowed on the school premises.
🚫 NO SMOKING: Please observe the no smoking signs near entrances and gathering areas.
Opening hours
The building itself is open and staffed 24/7 from when we open the convention on Thursday evening (the opening time varies from year to year) until 4:00 PM on Sunday.
There is plenty of seating in the cafeteria for those who need a break, are craving coffee or are hungry. You can come here to get in touch with GothCon staff regardless of the time of day.

Reception
When you arrive at the convention, check in at the reception. If you have not purchased a ticket in advance, you will purchase admission at the reception. To participate in the events, you will need an entrance wristband, which you will receive when you check in. You will then show this when you arrive at the events. It is also at check-in that you will receive your pre-purchased products (such as mugs and t-shirts).
The reception is the first stop for visitors to the convention. Those of us who work here have a good attitude, are meticulous and manage to be pleasant despite the sometimes somewhat stressful work environment. Among other things, we can answer questions, check in visitors and help with account registrations. We also take care of lost and found items.
Café
Here you can buy sweets, drinks, snacks, coffee, yogurt & healthy sandwiches.
The cafe stays open an hour longer than the rest of the convention so that everyone who wants to have the opportunity to buy sweets, drinks and provisions for the journey home.
Questions about food for organizers should be directed to the organizer's reception or arrangemang@gothcon.seQuestions about food for officials should be referred to the personnel manager or personal@gothcon.se.
Special diets & Allergies
We always try to accommodate the most common special dietary needs as far as possible. All our products are clearly labeled with content and our staff are always on hand to answer questions. In all cash registers in the serving area there is a folder with content and ingredient lists for all foods, semi-finished products and home-made products sold at Gothcon.
Never hesitate to ask us if you are unsure about the contents of our products.
If you have a severe airborne allergy and are concerned about exposure at the convention, please contact cafe@gothcon.se before the convention so that we can take this into account so that you feel safe.
GothMojj
At GothMojjen we serve classic street food. Of course we also have vegetarian and vegan options.
The selection may vary during the convention depending on demand, but we work hard to ensure that everyone finds something good to eat.
Breakfastserving
Breakfast is the absolute best start to a successful day at the convention. There is a wide selection including porridge, jam, fermented baked milk, muesli, cornflakes, milk, juice, eggs, bread, caviar, cheese, cold cuts, vegetables and freshly baked bread!

No pre-booking is required, first come, first served and payment takes place on the spot.
Free coffee
Freshly brewed coffee is available 24 hours a day and is free for all visitors.

If you would like to spontaneously register as an on-site official, you can do so with the personnel manager at the reception or with the service manager in the café. Café, kitchen & moj always need a couple of extra helping hands.
GothShop
The GothShop is GothCon's own merch store.
In Merch you can buy this year's t-shirt, mug and pin (also from previous years) as well as caps, tote bags, thermos mugs, stickers and much much more!
The tea bar
In the Tea Bar, visitors, organizers and officials can enjoy freshly brewed, steaming tea in several different flavors. Take the opportunity to grab a cup of this year's convention blend before it runs out.
Tea is served by the arrangement Tebaren and their lovely staff!
Free Play Places & Playable
There are also free gaming areas in the building where ticket holders can play their own games. Look out for the signs indicating a free gaming area.
At night there is also a game bar here where you can borrow different games to play with friends, try something new or just pass the time.
