There may also be additional fees for tournaments or events. To enter wares or to bid at the auction requires that the entry fee has been paid. If you just want to walk around an take a look, without spending the night or taking part in any games or competitions, no entry fee is needed.

The entry fees are primarily used for paying the rental fees of Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet and to print the folder sendouts. Additional expenses are competition prices and printing fees for scenarions. Game fees are used to cover expenses for printing, figures, terrain and similar. All work done by the staff is non profit.

Every year we need helpers who assist us with everything that's going on. Besides having a really great time while working, you're convention will be even cheaper by helping.
Everyone's welcome in our family of grunts, no matter your level of experience at working at conventions.

You can choose to work between 1 and 4 shifts, where each shift is around 5 hours long. That's between 7,5 and 30% of the total convention time. The number of shifts you want to help is completely up to you! If you don't want to work during the actual convention, but still want to help, there are opportunities to work both before the convention starts and after it's finished.

As gratitude for your assistance we'll make your entry fee cheaper, we'll give you food, clothes and other nice bonuses!

If you would like to sleep at GothCon, shared sleeping rooms are available from Thusday night through to Sunday. For 50 SEK you get access for all nights, and you can either pre-order or register for it at the check-in. At the check-in you will also get information on what sleeping room you've been assigned to.

You're allowed to use the sleeping rooms between Thursday and Friday, even if the events don't start until Friday. The sleeping rooms do not come with beds, so remember to bring sleeping pad, sleeping bag, pillow and anything else you need for a good night's sleep. There are showers available on the premise.

It is strictly forbidden to sleep in or on hallways, stairways, closets, book shelves or any other area that's not a sleeping room. If you would like to switch to another sleeping room, please contact the reception to sort it out.

Food is one of the most important aspects for us to have a good convention. To ensure you'll never need to go hungry we're offering a varied menu of food, baguettes, sandwiches and snacks. Read more about our options under the sections Breakfast and dinner and Café and Gothmoj.

Do you have specific needs?
If you have any allergies or other specific needs regarding food you need to inform us when you book your entry. We have the possibility to accommodate a wide verity of diets, but we need to know in advance what your preferences are. One of our chefs is completely dedicated to giving all visitors the opportunity to eat at the convention!

Remember that GothCon is hosted at a Swedish school. That means that there is a complete ban on nuts at the convention. That includes all forms of candy, food and snacks, even if you bring it yourself.

Breakfast
Friday, Saturday and Sunday we're serving breakfast. Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:00 and includes sandwiches, cereal, porridge, eggs, cheese, vegetables, hummus, bean salsa, and much more.

Breakfast is 30 SEK when pre-ordering and 40 SEK on site.

Dinner
Friday and Saturday we're serving a cooked dinner between 18:00 and 20:00. It includes a cooked meal, salad, a drink and bread. We really appreciate if you pre-order dinners as it helps us plan the orders a lot.
The dinner is served in lunch boxes that are easy to bring along if you don't want to sit in the café to eat.

Dinner is 50 SEK when pre-ordering and 65 SEK on site.

Welcome to the café, the heart of GothCon.
Here you can buy sweets, snacks, drinks, sandwiches and lunch boxes. Did you forget your toothbrush at home? Don't panic, we have that as well.

In the café there are a lot room for sitting down if you want to take a break, or if you're just hungry.
The café is available 24/7 and we also offer free coffee and tea during the entire convention.

If you're in the mood for som hot food, there's always the GothMoj, where we serve hot-dogs, meatballs, vegetarian alternatives, and much more.

The café can always use an extra pair of helping hands! Are you interested in working for a shift or two?

At the cafeteria entrance there are cardboard walls where information from event hosts, changes in schedule, etc. will be posted.

Please keep an eye on them for up-to-date information.

We no longer have the opportunity to provide free parking at the convention, as the school now charges for it's parking spaces.

As usual we will provide a free luggage storage to stow your stuff when you don't need it.

Please avoid leaving valuables in the sleeping rooms, as these are used as gaming rooms during the day. Due to a limited storage area, sleeping bags and sleeping mats are not allowed in the storage.

Opening hours for the luggage storage is:

• Fri - Sat: 09–23
• Sun: 09–16

If there are different times indicated in the folder or in the schedule, the schedule takes precedence. We're trying our hardest to let everyone play whatever they want, but there is always a risk that some games are so popular that they fill up. In those cases the order will be determined by the order which we received payment.

If you're not allowed to play due to lack of GMs we'll refund you the event fee for that game. You can check the status of your payment and your position in the queue for each event on the website.

Recommended minimum age for the convention is 15 years.

You need to pay the entry fee to play games, and to attend the auction.

You're only allowed to sleep at your designated area. Please ask the reception if you're unsure.

GothCon is a drug free convention, so alcohol is forbidden during the convention.

Smoking is only allowed outdoors.

We reserve the right to remove people from the premise who are acting disturbingly or who are playing games without having paid the entry fee.

Do you wanna be as cool as everyone else? Get the official GothCon T-shirt and mug! The T-shirt with this year's logo only costs 100 SEK.

If you want a T-shirt, you will need to pre-order it tough! Pre-orders close on February 6:th. Don't forget to pick your size and if you want a lady's or men's model when ordering. Lady's models are small and available in the sizes S-XL. Men's sizes are XS-XXL.

We're also selling our mugs with this year's logo. You can either pre-order before February 6:th or buy one at the Café for 50 SEK.

Every year there are shops and companies visiting GothCon to show their stuff or host events. If your company wishes to sell or show products, please contact our shop manager at butik@gothcon.se.
